Duo jeNga was born in June 2020, formed by Gaia Matulli and Jessica Da Rodda.

A duo created after the first lock down, in order not to remain isolated individuals, neither humanly nor artistically. The artists felt the necessity to collaborate and create something new.

Their friendship, however, has lasted much longer: they met in Bologna, in 2008, a deep bond was born immediately and shortly after they formed the Fuocamboo company with other jugglers and musicians, through which they made the first street shows and organized the Bologna Buskers Pirata. Together they start attending a weekly clown course held by Giorgio Formenti.

In the following years they take parallel paths but sometimes continue to collaborate together on different occasions.

Both have been working as solo street artists for about seven years, and come from a very similar background, this leads them to deepen the study of the clown and to integrate it into their juggling numbers.

In 2019 the two are co-founders of the “Cabaret Clownesse” project, a cabaret-style theatrical show created by the union of 7 women, which aims to promote and raise awareness of the figure of the clown in Italy.

In June 2020 they create "Déjà-vù" a show that combines clowning, juggling, acrobatics and music.
